Below are assorted transcriptions (and some translations as indicated) of compiled rosters (pies de lista) and muster rolls (extractos de revista) of the soldiers of Spanish Florida, including officers and soldiers of all ranks, and various other officials and workers maintained at royal cost in the two presidios of Florida between 1565 and 1763. St. Augustine (1565-1763) staffed all the military stationed as far west as the Apalachicola River (including the fort at San Marcos de Apalache between 1718 and 1763), while Pensacola's four successive presidios to the west (Santa María de Galve, 1698-1719; San Joseph, 1719-1722; Isla de Santa Rosa, Punta de Sigüenza, 1722-1756; and San Miguel de Panzacola, 1756-1763) were staffed out of New Spain. These documentary lists will be added as time permits, but should in the meantime provide some of the actual named individuals who served and lived in Spanish Florida as members of the military presidio system.
