applications of mathematics. Intended for students who require only general
education mathematics courses. Major course topics: systematic counting,
probability, statistics, history of mathematics, geometry, sets, logic. (Gordon

topics that supplement those in MGF 1106 needed by elementary teachers.
Intended for students in elementary education. Major topics: number sets and
properties, number theory, geometry, measurement, graphs—all taught within a
