Differential
and integral calculus of functions of several variables. Basic concepts of
point set topology on the plane, partial derivatives, chain rule, multiple
integrals and their transformations, infinite series, uniform convergence of

MAA 5404 Analytic Functions 3
Prerequisite:
MAC 2313.
Complex
numbers and functions of a complex variable. Complex numbers, their algebra and
their geometric representation, the elementary functions, analytic functions
and harmonic functions, the complex line integral, integral formulae, Taylor
and Laurent series, residues and applications of residues. (Senior standing is
required).
