| GRANTS Federal Pell Grant Program This grant is the primary need-based Federal aid program. Repayment is not required. Pell Grants are awarded to undergraduate students only. Awards are based upon enrollment status. Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program (SEOG) These grants are intended for undergraduate students with financial need. Repayment is not required. The grants are made only to undergraduate students in amounts ranging from $200 - $1,000 per year. Florida Student Assistance Grant Program (FSAG) The FSAG is awarded to undergraduate Florida residents who demonstrate financial need. Repayment is not required. Since there is no separate application form, eligible students should complete the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid" or FAFSA. FSAG has a priority deadline of March 1st for the academic year that begins with the Fall semester. Your financial aid file must be complete by this date to guarantee consideration for FSAG funds. Educational Enhancement Grants Limited funds are available to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. These grants are also used to supplement SEOG funds. Repayment is not required. Grants range in value from $200 - $1,500 per year. UWF Graduate Grants Limited funds are available to graduate students who demonstrate financial need. Repayment is not required. Grants range in value from $500 - $2,000 per year. Out-of-State Grants Limited funds are available to assist students with their out-of-state tuition. For information, undergraduate students should contact the Office of Admissions, while graduate students should contact the academic department of their graduate program. |
