Transfer students must have a minimum transfer GPA of 3.25 and submit a letter of recommendation from their previous institution’s Honor Director or faculty member. Some benefits for participation in the Program include early registration, small classes (average of 15 students), Honors Seminar Series, social and cultural activities, a certificate of completion when Program requirements are met, annotation on the UWF transcript of Honors courses taken, participation in the Honors Commencement Ceremony for recognition of Program graduates, and individual recognition by UWF’s President during Commencement exercises. Interested students should contact the Honors Office for more information. |
