Prerequisite: MAT 1033
Presents topics that supplement those in MGF 1106 needed by elementary teachers. Intended for students in elementary education. Major topics: number sets and properties, number theory, geometry, measurement, graphs—all taught within a problem solving approach. MGF 1106        Mathematics for Liberal Arts I . . . . . 3(F,S,SS)
Prerequisite: MAT 1033
Presents topics that illustrate both the aesthetic aspects and the practical applications of mathematics. Intended for students who require only general education mathematics courses.
