Emphasis is on analysis, instructional design, and application of skills in a teaching situation. PEO 3001 Sports Officiating . . . . . 3(F,S) Provides students insight into and experiences related to the world and profession of sports officiating. Principles, practices, responsibilities, techniques, and methods employed in sports officiating will be presented. Opportunities for employment in sports officiating will be discussed. Students will be required to observe officiating techniques and will be assigned officiating responsibilities in local sports programs.
