June Wei is a Professor in the College of Business at the University of West Florida. She earned a PhD from Purdue University. She is an Editor-in-Chief of two peer-reviewed international journals - International Journal of Mobile Communications and Electronic Government- an International Journal. Dr. Wei was President of Southwest Decision Sciences Institute in 2014-2015. She also served in various capacities at international conferences and organizations including Vice President, Program Chair, Proceedings Editor, and Academic Committee Chair, etc. She also has many years industrial working and management experiences in the telecommunication and network sector. Dr. Wei has received more than twenty research and teaching awards including Federation of Business Disciplines Outstanding Educator Award and Outstanding Paper in the 2017 Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence. She won Best Paper Award five times at major international conferences. She also received educational awards and funding from large US companies such as Marconi Communications Inc. and Bausch and Lomb Co. She is the author or co-author of over ninety peer reviewed journal papers, and is the author or editor of two books in electronic value chain management, information security and privacy, and mobile information systems management. Her research interests cover electronic mobile supply chain management, information security and privacy in mobile communications, and mobile electronic commerce systems development.
