PUR 3000 Principles of Public Relations . . . . . 3(F,S,SS)
Disseminating public information through mass media; public opinion analysis; research techniques; applications in business, government, education and politics.

PUR 3100 Writing for Public Relations . . . . . 3(F,S,SS)
News and promotional writing, editing and publishing. Students learn to interview, gather news and write in journalistic style. Introduces desktop publishing computer system.

PUR 4404 International Public Relations . . . . . 3(CALL DEPT)
Prerequisite: PUR 3000.
Examines the phenomenon of international public relations and identifies many of the methods employed and the problems encountered by those who engage in international public relations. Offered concurrently with PUR 5405; graduate students will be assigned additional work.

PUR 4600 Integrated Communication-Management . . . . . 3(F,S)
Prerequisite: PUR 3000 or ADV 3000.
Capstone course for public relations and advertising majors. Emphasis on case study analysis and the management of integrated communication programs. Senior status required.

PUR 4800 Integrated Communication-Research . . . . . 3(F,S)
Prerequisite: STA 2023; ADV 3000 or PUR 3000
Primary and secondary research methods useful to integrated public relations/advertising communication campaign.
