HUM 3515 Interdisciplinary Arts . . . . . 3(F)
An exploration of the interdisciplinary and collaborative nature of the fine and performing arts. Traces the general development of the arts from their origins to the present. Students examine how the arts are an outgrowth of humanity and therefore are unified in culture and society. Students develop projects using the interdisciplinary art approach.

HUM 3931 IFA Junior Seminar . . . . . 3(S)
The IFA Junior Seminar brings together individuals from the fine and performing arts to focus on issues and ideas from multi-disciplinary, historical and contemporary perspectives. Students will be challenged to view the Fine Arts from many perspectives, to work with people with different views and areas of expertise, and to display mastery of their major concentration. The Junior Level Seminar is preparatory for the final Senior Seminar. Junior Level Standing (completion of all coursework through the 3000 level) and permission is required.

HUM 4930 IFA Senior Seminar . . . . . 3(S)
Students will be challenged to view the Fine Arts from many perspectives, to work with people with different views and areas of expertise, and to display mastery of their major concentration. Includes weekly seminar discussion and completion of a collaborative Senior Project. Senior Level Standing (completion of all coursework through the 3000 level) and permission is required.

HUM 6910 Master's Essay . . . . . 1-2(F,S,SS)
Completion of a comprehensive research essay which attempts to integrate the three fields of study. A committee of faculty, one from each discipline, evaluates on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Permission is required.

HUM 6971 Thesis . . . . . 1-8(F,S,SS)
Graded on satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis only. Permission is required.
