Practical experience with the daily operation of solid waste and wastewater management facilities, with specialized techniques important to managers and operators of these facilities. Course lasts for one 40-hour week just prior to start of Fall semester. Completion of lower division, declaration of major in Waste Management Technology track is required.

Prerequisites: GEO 3210, MCB 3020, and PCB 4043.
Discussion of the ecological aspects of waste management and contemporary waste management, with some coverage of wastewater treatment.
