EET 3038C Advanced Circuit Analysis . . . . . 4(CALL
DEPT)
Advanced course in circuit analysis that stresses network theorems;
solutions of time and frequency domain problems; magnetic coupling; three phase
circuits; transformer theory and impedance matching; two-port parameters.
Includes a computer lab to analyze the above circuits. DC and AC courses,
offered at Junior and Community colleges under various course numbers are
required. An introductory course in programming is also needed.
EET 3326C Communication Systems . . . . . 4(CALL DEPT)
Develops competencies in the theory and industrial application of modern
communication systems. Introductory course with experiments in transmission
systems, waveguides, fiber optics, microwaves and lasers.
EET 3504C Applications of Industrial Electricity and
Electronics . . . . . 3(CALL DEPT)
Prerequisite: PHY 2054.
Electrical circuits, magnetic circuits, apparatus and electronic controls from
elementary principles to solution of industrial problems.
EET 3949 Cooperative Education . . . . . 1-2(F,S,SS)
Alternating full-time or consecutive parallel terms of practical experience
in the intended field. Reinforcing academic preparation; confirming educational
and career goals; personal and professional development; early start in career;
earnings toward self-support; improved employability. (See program description
under Cooperative Education). Graded on satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis only.
Permission of Cooperative Education director is required.
