TSL 4080 Foundations of Teaching ESOL in the Schools . . . . . 3(F,S,SS)
Designed to provide students with information and skills concerning the education of students who have limited English proficiency and their families. Focuses on methods of teaching English to speakers of other languages (ESOL), ESOL curriculum and materials, cross cultural understanding, applied linguistics in second language teaching, and testing and evaluation of ESOL. Admitted to Teacher Education is required.
