MGF 1106 Mathematics for Liberal Arts I . . . . . 3(F,S,SS)
Presents topics that illustrate both the aesthetic aspects and the practical applications of mathematics. Intended for students who require only general education mathematics courses. Major course topics: systematic counting, probability, statistics, history of mathematics, geometry, sets, logic. (Gordon Rule Course: Theoretical Math) and (General Studies Course: MAT/MAT) Prerequisite: MAT 1033 or equivalent.
