EVS 3940 Practicum in Waste Management Operations . . . . . 1(CALL DEPT)
Practical experience with the daily operation of solid waste and wastewater management facilities, with specialized techniques important to managers and operators of these facilities. Course lasts for one 40-hour week just prior to start of Fall semester. Completion of lower division, declaration of major in Waste Management Technology track is required.

Discussion of the ecological aspects of waste management and contemporary waste management, with some coverage of wastewater treatment. Prerequisites: GEO 3210, MCB 3020, and PCB 4043.
