In-depth exposure to appropriate fabrication methods in three- dimensional materials including wood, metal, and stone. Beginning hands-on investigation of formal issues in conjunction with contemporary art concepts. Required (or equivalent) for all students who plan to continue with sculpture. Students and faculty "customize" courses to fit a full range of services that are available in the setting. Student must be able to draw correlation between the discipline and field study. An intensive, advanced computer imaging course. Combines all previous applications, computer skills and creative/aesthetic development. Students incorporate image manipulation, sound, Lingo programming and 2D animation, utilizing Macromedia-Director. Labor intensive, as the application has a high learning curve. Continuation of Digital Multimedia I and is an intensive, advanced computer imaging course. Allows students time to put to the Director techniques into practice, while combining all previous applications, computer skills and creative/aesthetic development. Students incorporate image manipulation, sound, Lingo programming language and 2D animation, utilizing Macromedia-Director, Sound Edit 16, Adobe After Effects and Premiere. Is labor intensive, designed for highly motivated, self- disciplined students. Credit may not be earned in both ART 4682C and ART 4619C. Prerequisite: ART 4618C.

Investigation of individual visual direction through refined technical and content-based research. Continuing exposure to contemporary visual issues and research into postmodernism.
