These skills involve using statistical, forecasting and estimation techniques. Students are expected to use the subject matter for problem sets and exams. Prerequisite: MAC 2233 and STA 2023.

Standard forecasting techniques and econometric modeling applied to managerial planning and business/economics/decision making. Forecasting topics include econometric methods and time series methods. Econometric topics include the linear regression model, violations of the model, estimation and hypothesis testing. Prerequisite: STA 5136 or equivalent.
