This degree program is designed for students who wish to pursue health careers in public and private health agencies. Students can develop a program emphasis in areas such as counseling, social work, nutrition, and community health.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
In addition to general University requirements and General Studies requirements, students seeking the B.S. in Health Education must meet the requirements listed below.

General Studies (36 sh)
Students should take DEP 2004 to satisfy the social science/socio-political perspective component, MAC 1105 and either STA 1013 or STA 2023 to satisfy the mathematics component and GEO 2330 and BSC 1085/L to satisfy the natural science component of General Studies.

Sufficient 1000/2000 level electives to complete at least 60 semester hours in the lower division. Current UWF students may use elective courses at any level (1000-4999) to meet this elective requirement. Recommend HSC 2100 be taken at the lower division.
