The department offers a master's degree specialization in Vocational Education within the M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. The program is designed for teachers and other persons responsible for vocational and occupational programs in public and private organizations.

Completion of this program will result in a degree in vocational teacher education. This is not, however, a Florida Department of Education approved teacher education program and does not result in state certification. Certification in vocational education in Florida is granted by local districts.
