The department offers a master's degree
specialization in Alternative Education within the M.Ed. Curriculum and
Instruction program.
The Alternative Education program is a
non-initial certification program. This program is designed to enhance and
extend the skills required of professionals who work with at-risk youth,
regardless of age, in educational and agency environments. Students in this
program could add certification areas to their teaching certificate with the
judicious selection of elective courses.
Course descriptions are listed alphabetically by
prefix at Course Listings/Descriptions.
