Placement in community agency or other social organizational setting related to field of study. Supervision by faculty and
agency. Students and faculty "customize" courses to fit a full range of services that are available in the setting. Student must
be able to draw correlation between the discipline and field study. Journal and reflective experience paper are required.
With the agreement of the student's faculty sponsor, a minimum of 4-6 hours per week must be done at the field site per
semester hour of credit.

recital. Permission to give recital is secured from the student's applied teacher at least two weeks prior to scheduled recital
date. Prerequisite: Two semesters of 3000 level applied lessons (junior level). Performance majors only.

demonstration. Required of all piano majors. Prerequisite: Junior-level standing in music.
MVK 4971 Senior Recital - Keyboards . . . . . 1-3(VARIABLE)
Prior to graduation all students seeking a music degree must present a complete public recital. Permission to give a recital is
secured from students' applied teacher at least two weeks prior to scheduled recital date. Performance majors will be
required to register for 3 credit hours and Education majors will be required to register for 1 credit hour. Prerequisite: Two
semesters of 4000 level applied music (Senior level). Permission required.
