This degree program is designed for students who wish to pursue health careers in public and private health agencies. Students can develop a program emphasis in areas such as counseling, social work, nutrition, and community health.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
In addition to general University requirements and General Studies requirements, students seeking the B.S. in Health Education must meet the requirements listed below.

General Studies (36 sh)
Students should take DEP 2004 to satisfy the social science/socio-political perspective component, MAC 1105 and STA 1013 or STA 2023 to satisfy the mathematics component, PHI 2603 to satisfy the humanities values and expressions component, and GEO 2330 to satisfy 3 sh of the natural science component of General Studies.
