CLP 2948 Service Learning Field Study I . . . . . 1-3(VARIABLE)
Placement in community agency or other social organizational setting related to field of study. Supervision by faculty and agency. Students and faculty "customize" courses to fit a full range of services that are available in the setting. Student must be able to draw correlation between the discipline and field study. Journal and reflective experience paper are required. With the agreement of the student's faculty sponsor, a minimum of 6-8 hours per week must be done at the field site per semester hour of credit.

CLP 3144 Abnormal Psychology . . . . . 3(3,0)
Definitions and history of abnormal behavior, theories of causes of behavior disorders, psychoneuroses, psychoses, psychophysiological disorders and problems in living (e.g., stress, anxiety, coping). Opportunity may be offered by course instructor for field trips to mental health facilities for extra credit.

CLP 5166 Psychopathology . . . . . 3(3,0)
Intensive examination of adolescent and adult behavior disturbances from multiple theoretical approaches. Use of standard diagnostic manual. Emphasis on evaluating research in psychopathology. Prerequisite: CLP 3144 or permission of instructor.

CLP 6418 Behavior Modification: Technique and Practice . . . . . 1-6(VARIABLE)
Practice in behavior modification techniques plus step analysis and treatment of hypothetical individual cases. With the permission of instructor, students may elect to take this course more than once, up to 6 sh of credit. Prerequisite: EAB 5705.

CLP 6441 Individual Intelligence Testing . . . . . 3(3,0)
Administration and interpretation of tests of individual intelligence. Emphasis on Wechsler scales and Stanford-Binet. Introduction to report writing. Prerequisite: CLP 3144, or equivalent and permission of instructor.

CLP 6942 Individual Personality Testing . . . . . 3(3,0)
Administration, scoring and interpretation of tests involving personality and organic brain dysfunction. Principles of projective and objective tests. Writing integrated reports of various test batteries (e.g., MMPI, Rorschach, Bender, etc.). Permission of the instructor.

CLP 6943 Practicum in Psychiatric Psychopathology . . . . . 2(2,0)
Student spends 4 hours per week in a psychiatric setting interacting with seriously disturbed patients. In addition to psychiatric supervision, student attends a 2 sh seminar with instructor who also provides individual supervision. Prerequisite: CLP 5166 or equivalent and permission of instructor.

CLP 6944 Practicum in School Psychology Testing . . . . . 4(3,0)
Administration, scoring and interpretation of various psycho- educational measures such as achievement batteries, adaptive behavior measures, behavior rating scales, curriculum based measures, and functional assessment. Also covered are alternative delivery systems, integrative report writing, consultation, diagnosis, and interventions. Supervised field experience is also provided. Prerequisite: CLP 6441 and permission of instructor.
