QMB 6305 is a prerequisite for Marketing Management (MAR 6815), Advanced Managerial Economics (ECP 6705) and Operations Management Problems (MAN 6511). Provides students with quantitative skills that are required to make business decisions. These skills involve using statistical, forecasting and estimation techniques. Students are expected to use the subject matter for problem sets and exams. Prerequisite: MAC 2233 and STA 2023.

QMB 6365 Quantitative Decision Making . . . . . 3(3,0)
Standard forecasting techniques and econometric modeling applied to managerial planning and business/economics/decision making. Forecasting topics include econometric methods and time series methods. Econometric topics include the linear regression model, violations of the model, estimation and hypothesis testing. Prerequisite: STA 5136 or equivalent.
