Business MinorThe Business Minor is designed to provide the non-business major with professional skills necessary for positions in business and industry. The curriculum is conceived as a broad introduction to several areas of business. Business majors are not eligible to pursue a minor in general business.
A minimum of 21 sh of coursework will be required, 15 sh of which must be upper-level work. At least 15 of the 21 sh must be completed at UWF. All courses must be completed with a "C" or better.

General Studies
Business minors should satisfy the General Studies requirements for their major which should include MAC 1104, STA 2023, and any computer literacy course.
Common Prerequisites (6 sh)
State mandated common prerequisites must be completed prior to graduation, but are not required for admission to the program.

Electives
If a student completes equivalent work at the lower division level, the student may select upper-level business electives in the area of interest to complete the required 15 sh of upper-level work.
