AnthropologyFaculty: D.A. Blanchard (Chairperson), J.A. Bense, T.J. Prewitt; Faculty Associate: R.C. Smith
The anthropology major prepares students for several graduate study opportunities and for a limited number of professional jobs related to the discipline. The program stresses hands-on experiences in two areas of specialization, archaeology and cultural anthropology.
Students are encouraged to participate in faculty-directed research projects in the Pensacola area. Senior internships with regional and national employers and research institutes provide on-the-job training.
