SPS 6931 Seminar in School Psychology . . . . . 2(2,0)
Assessment and intervention techniques as they relate to the field of school psychology. Behavioral observations, functional and curriculum based assessment techniques, and consultation with parents and teachers are addressed. Interventions with students experiencing various academic and behavioral problems are also covered. Prerequisite: SPS 6807 and permission of instructor.
SPS 6945 Internship In School Psychology . . . . . 6(0,35)
Supervised experience within a public school or private clinical setting where the intern serves as a full time staff member and delivers the full range of school psychological services. An internship paper or thesis is required. School psychology interns register for 6 sh for two consecutive semesters (Fall & Spring). Minimum of 1200 clock hours is required. Prerequisites: CLP 6944 and permission of instructor
