    PCO 6946 Practicum in Counseling I . . . . . 3(2,8)

      Basic communication skills, issues in counseling and case supervision. Emphasis on individual counseling. During term student is placed in community agency for 8 10 hours per week. In addition, there is a two hour seminar and a one hour individual supervision session each week. Prerequisite: CLP 5166 (may be taken concurrently), PCO 6216, PCO 6206C and permission of instructor.

    PCO 6947 Practicum in Counseling II . . . . . 3(2,8)

      Individual counseling experiences with a gradual emphasis on leading and facilitating groups. During term student is placed in community agency for eight to ten hours per week. In addition, there is a two hour seminar and a one hour supervisory session each week. Prerequisite: PCO 6946; Pre or Corequisites: PCO 6246 and permission of instructor.
