Designed to enable students to meet part of the general education requirement in mathematics. It is intended for students who plan to major in fields that do not require an in depth study of mathematics. Major topics include: sets, symbolic logic, probability, statistics, theory of games, and mathematics of finance. Prerequisite: MAC 1104 or equivalent.
