Assessing readiness for initial certification and improving skills in evaluating and reporting student academic progress. Intended for majors in the various secondary teacher education programs. Students must be concurrently enrolled in student teaching. Prerequisite: EDF 3214, EDF 3605, ESE 3321C. Corequisite: EDG 4940.

    ESE 4940 Secondary Practicum . . . . . 1-2(Variable)

      Observation of and participation with students in a school setting in the university student's major area of study. Sixteen clock hours required for each semester hour of credit. Graded on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Corequisite: EDG 3323C or ESE 3321C or special methods course in major area of study. Prerequisite: EDF 3605.
